12V Water Pumps
Filling a glass of water, washing the dishes, or taking a shower – if it involves turning on a tap in your motorhome or caravan, you’re going to need a water pump to get that water flowing. And the best way to do that is with a 12V water pump.
Some important things to consider when you’re choosing a water pump for your RV include:
- Operating voltage – most RVs have a 12V house battery but some bigger vehicles such as bus and truck conversions may have a 24V system.
- Flow rate – this is measured in litres per minute (e.g. 11.5LPM)
- Pressure – a good pressure for an average motorhome would be around 30PSI, with a maximum being around 50PSI.
