A valve is a device that regulates, directs or controls the flow of a fluid by opening, closing, or partially obstructing the passageway. A non-return valve is fitted to ensure that a medium flows through a pipe in the right direction, where pressure conditions may otherwise cause reversed flow.
The non-return 12mm valve stops fluids from damaging your pump by regulating the flow of the water. This extends your pumps life span and saves you the hassle of having to replace the whole pump.
