This Powertech DC/DC Multi-Stage Battery Charger is a durable dual-input unit, managing solar and alternator/battery inputs to charge a secondary (house) battery system.

The charger supports batteries including, Lead acid, AGM, Calcium, GEL and LiFePO4. The charger system prioritises solar over the alternator, providing lower loads on your engine.

With automatic ignition detection enabled, the system will isolate the starting battery when the engine is off, preventing discharge of your critical starting battery.

The automatic set-and-forget charger is microprocessor controlled and features 6-stage charging modes. It is built with an aluminium case, mounting bracket, charge status LEDs and push button for battery selection.

Handles solar panels with 16 to 25V open circuit voltage, and comes with over charge, short circuit, over temperature, reverse polarity, thermal overload, and solar input overload safety protection.
