Friday Night
We like to get away most weekends and are fortunate with a variety of beautiful spots, that are only a short commute away. This time we settled on Sullivan's Bay – 1.5 hours out of Auckland. After we arrived, we took a stroll along the beach and instantly felt relaxed.
Saturday morning
Coffee and pastries are the perfect start to our weekend – only a quick drive and we have several tasty cafes available. We then hit the local market stalls (which are very handily located on the side of the highway) and get fresh produce for later – yum.
Saturday Afternoon
Rest and relaxation is half the reason we go away! Nothing beats curling up with a good book for the afternoon – absolute bliss.
Saturday evening
Golden hour – we definitely like to enjoy the scenery with a drink and some nibbles (we even used the produce we purchased at the market stalls). This is truly living – pinch ourselves moment!
Sunday morning
Since purchasing our Laika, we have really got into exploring on our e-bikes, and this weekend was no different. The amazing tracks in the area make it easy to exercise and spend time together. Perfect end to a great weekend. Now back to the hustle and bustle of the city!
